Lead the music, shape the future. Llandudno Town Band seeks a passionate Musical Director to inspire our players, broaden our repertoire, and strengthen the band’s role at community events and concerts. You will plan and lead weekly rehearsals, create engaging programmes for summer engagements and special events, and work with committee members to build a long-term vision for artistic growth. We welcome applicants with conducting experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to developing musicians of all ages and abilities. Welcome
In 1910, when Llandudno was one of Wales’s most fashionable seaside resorts, the local St. Tudno Silver Band was asked to provide music for visitors to the town. With the support of the Council, the band became Llandudno Town Band.
More than a century later, we’re proud to continue that tradition, performing on the promenade bandstand in summer and throughout the year for local events, charities, the Town Council, and private functions.

Yn 1910, pan oedd Llandudno yn un o gyrchfannau glan môr mwyaf ffasiynol Cymru, gofynnwyd i’r St. Tudno Silver Band lleol ddarparu cerddoriaeth i ymwelwyr â’r dref. Gyda chefnogaeth y Cyngor, daeth y band yn Fand Tref Llandudno.
Mwy na chan mlynedd yn ddiweddarach, rydym yn falch o barhau â’r traddodiad hwnnw, gan berfformio ar y bandstand ar y promenâd yn yr haf ac yn ystod y flwyddyn ar gyfer digwyddiadau lleol, elusennau, y Cyngor Tref, a digwyddiadau preifat.
