Llandudno Town Band has been at the heart of the community for over a century, bringing people together through the enjoyment of brass music. From our famous promenade concerts to community events and special occasions, we are proud to continue a tradition that has been part of Llandudno since 1910.
Today, we are a friendly, welcoming brass band with members of all ages and abilities, united by a passion for music and a commitment to keeping the tradition of brass band music alive in our community.
Who We Are
Llandudno Town Band is a community brass band based in the seaside town of Llandudno, North Wales. We perform throughout the year at concerts, community events, civic occasions and private engagements, sharing our music with audiences of all ages.
Whether performing at our iconic bandstand on the promenade or representing the town at events across the region, we are proud to be part of Llandudno’s rich musical heritage.

Our Heritage
Founded in 1910, Llandudno Town Band has been part of the town’s musical heritage for well over a century. Originally known as St Tudno Silver Band, the band has evolved through the years while remaining true to its purpose of bringing brass band music to the people of Llandudno and beyond.

Locations
We are based in the Victorian coastal town of Llandudno. During the summer months the Band performs on The Bandstand which is situated along the promenade with a view of Llandudno’s historic pier. Members of the public are invited to stop a while and enjoy music from a variety of genres from old time classics to some more modern numbers. Our Bandroom is located at the rear of the Town Hall off Lloyd Street (see map above), and thanks to the generous support of Mostyn Estates Ltd. we also have a Rehearsal Room in the former Tabernacle Chapel building on the corner of Llewelyn Avenue and Upper Mostyn Street (see map below).
