Llandudno Town Band is a friendly community brass band with a proud history of making music and serving the local community. Whether you’d like to perform, help at events, support our fundraising, or simply become part of the band, we’d love to welcome you into the band.

Volunteers Welcome
You don’t have to play an instrument to become part of Llandudno Town Band.
We’re always pleased to hear from people who would like to help with:
- Concerts and events.

- Transporting equipment.
- Music library administration.
- Committee and volunteer roles.
Every successful band relies on volunteers as well as musicians, and we’d love to welcome anyone who would like to become part of our friendly team.

Don’t have your own instrument? We have a selection of band instruments available to loan to members, so please don’t let that stop you getting in touch.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my own instrument?
No. If you don’t have your own instrument, we have a selection of band instruments available to loan to members.
I’ve not played for years. Can I still join?
Absolutely. Many of our members have returned to brass banding after a break, and we’ll be happy to help you settle back into playing.
Can I come along and see what it’s like?
Yes. Please contact us before your first rehearsal so we can answer any questions, have music ready if needed, and make sure someone is there to welcome you.
Do I need to audition?
No. We don’t hold formal auditions. We simply ask that you get in touch before attending your first rehearsal
