Christmas 2023

Christmas wouldn’t be quite the same without the sound of a brass band playing carols and festive music. You can hear us at the following events in the area as we support local charities and organisations with their fundraising and celebrations during the Christmas season.

02/12/23 (Sat) Outside Llandudno Town Hall
We’ll be playing Christmas carols from about 2:15 p.m. as part of the entertainments outside the Town Hall, Lloyd Street before the arrival of the annual Christmas Parade.

09/12/23 (Sat) Rhos on Sea Promenade
The band will be accompanying a choir leading the carol singing at an event organised by Rhos on Sea Rotary Club to raise funds for Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice. You’ll find us near the Tourist Information ‘Clocktower’ on the seafront and we’ll be playing from about 1:00 p.m.

10/12/23 (Sun) Maes Derw, Llandudno Junction
We will be joining in celebrations taking place at Maes Derw playing field (off Cae Derw/Ronald Avenue) including switching on the Christmas lights. There will be other entertainments as well as a small group from the band, and we’ll be playing from about 5:00 p.m.

17/12/23 (Sun) Glanwydden Village (near Penrhyn Bay)
We will be appearing at a Christmas event which is raising funds for St David’s Hospice, Hope House Hospice and to replace children’s park equipment in the village. It will be take place outside The Queen’s Head Pub and we will be playing from about 5:00 p.m.

26/12/23 (Tue) Boxing Day Dip, Llandudno
A small group from the band will be playing Christmas carols inside the St George’s Hotel from about 10:00 a.m. in the lead up to the Fancy Dress Competition and annual Charity Boxing Day Dip organised by the Lions Club of Llandudno.

All the events may be subject to change or cancellation. Other band appearances not open to the general public are not listed.
