Join Us

Moved into the area and looking for a friendly local band to join? Or have you taken a break from playing and now considering a return? It’s never too late to start up again!

Perhaps you’re a beginner brass player who’s reached a fair standard and ready to take the next step?

With positions available in some sections of the band, we are very keen to encourage new members to come and join us. Cornet, baritone and bass players would be particularly welcome!

We have successfully contested (in the 4th Section), though our main activities are performing during the summer months on the Promenade Bandstand and in other concerts and events throughout the rest of the year. We regularly provide our services to the Town Council, to charities, the local community and for private functions. We also just like playing music together!

Our rehearsals are held on Monday evenings between 19:30 and 21:30 except in the summer months when we perform on the Bandstand. We have our own bandroom at the rear of the Town Hall, Lloyd Street (adjacent to the car park), and thanks to the generous support of Mostyn Estates Ltd we also have a rehearsal room in the former Tabernacle Chapel building on the corner of Llewelyn Avenue and Upper Mostyn Street (see maps below).
