Poppy Appeal and Remembrance Sunday
We are pleased to be supporting the Royal British Legion as they launch this year’s Poppy Appeal in Llandudno on Sunday 27th October. As part of the launch, the Royal British Legion Riders Branch (RBLR) will be motorcycling across North Wales and are due to arrive in Llandudno at approximately 2:45 pm. After the riders reach the War Memorial there will be a short act of remembrance with music provided by the band.
The band will also take part in the annual Remembrance Sunday commemorations. On 10th November at 10:35 am we will lead the parade from Trinity Church to the War Memorial for a service which will include observance of two minutes silence at 11:00 am. Following the service, the parade will march to Vaughan Street via the Town Hall where the salute will be taken by the Mayor and Branch President of the Royal British Legion.
